This is a question we get asked a lot. Is My CTEK D250SE doing it’s job.
You have some indicator lights to help you with this:

- Find your CTEK Unit
- What lights do you have on?
- If the engine is off, and you have solar connected, you would expect to see lights as shown in No.2 above
- If you have solar and the light next to the panel is not lit, then you have an issue with your panel
- If you start the engine and you don’t see the light by the A come on, as shown in No1 above, then you have an issue with the connection to your Leisure battery
- If you get the lights as shown in 1, 2 and 3 then your system is playing ball
Remember: If you have a lead-based battery system, it must stay above 50% charge (basically, above 12v). If the battery drops below 50%, it can be damaged; if it stays below 50%, the damage can be permanent.
As always, there is a lot more to this subject, and this is a quick, simplified overview. We hope it helps
